Every year, members of our community's youngest generation are selected to remind us that the future of Penrose is bright. These adorable children symbolize the best in all of us - joy, hope, and unlimited possibilities. They represent all that could be and honor all that has gone before.
Be sure to wave to them as they pass by in the Apple Day Parade
. Their smiles and laughter will no doubt be a highlight of our community celebration!
Apple Day Queen
“Titles set expectations, but they don’t bestow quality.” -Siverquill
I set expectations for myself when I was chosen to be queen. But those expectations were actually goals, which helped me discover qualities of myself that I didn’t know I had.
Being Apple Day Queen has been a great honor, and being able to represent Penrose is amazing. I’ve lived in Penrose my entire life.
Every year when I was younger I would just be amazed by the glitz and glam of the Apple Day Parade and the Royalty, but I never thought I’d be up there on the float myself!
Apple Day Court
Our beautiful Apple Day Court will spend the next year attending events on behalf of us, the people of Penrose. They will attend grand openings and community celebrations, as well as host Apple Day. These amazing young women will promote and serve our community with poise, grace, and humility.
Congratulations to our 2018 Court: Roselyn Steadman, Abby Andrews and Mila Perry.
