  • Fremont County Financial Recovery Business Grant Funding
    As our community continues to confront the still-emerging health and economic implications of the COVID-19 crisis, small businesses, schools, religious organizations and non-profit entities throughout Fremont County have sought to meet the sudden and emergency needs of our community. Fremont County is proud to announce the final opportunity entities to apply for relief and receive funding, via the CARES Act, to address the COVID-19 emergency.   • Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will be postponing the Annual Banquet. All who paid will be reimbursed. 

  • Apple Day!!! A full day of fun sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, VFW Post 2788, and the Penrose Park!

    • ***The fun begins with a 5K Fun Run FREE to all participants. Run/Walk/Ride your bike or your horse. The run will end across the street from VFW Post 2788.  There will be discounted tickets for participants’ breakfast as well as goodies for kids who participate. Horses/ bikes will have to stay on the roads.

    • ***The VFW Auxiliary will be serving biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs and cheese, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice.

    • ***The picnic in the park will have hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, and apple pie. And it’s FREE!

    • ***End the great day at the VFW Post 2788 (always open to the public and FREE) dancing to the Atomic Fireballs!

    • We want to bring the community together to celebrate our annual Apple Day no matter what! And thanks to our community sponsors; the fun run, picnic and band is free!
