PENROSE

Penrose Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit corporation.

​

The organization shall have the following goals and objectives in mind:

1. To bring together the citizens of Penrose and surrounding areas into a closer relationship; whereby we may be unified in efforts to work toward more orderly growth and development.

2. To initiate, encourage and support projects deemed worthy which we feel will enhance the quality of life in our community.

3. To act as a liaison body with local and state governments in affairs concerning our community,

4. To send delegates to conventions and meetings as shall, in the opinion of the board of directors, be profitable and beneficial to the community.

5. To promote and foster new industry that would be acceptable and beneficial to the area.

6. To promote tourism and to initiate and cooperate with movements to beautify our town and make it more attractive.

7. To have and exercise all the rights, privileges and functions which usually pertain to an organization of this character; and to promote generally the health and welfare of the community.
